    The followers of Shanat come under attack by the mysterious inhabitants of Rringlor Noroth, who rise form the depths of a great chasm in a battle for control of the caverns of Alatorin. The Stout Folk eventually prevail after Taark slays four blue dragons who claimed the Rift of Dhalnadar as their demesne. The Wyrmskull Throne is created using the skulls of the four blue dragons (some say by the dwarven god Dumathoin). The former lair of the dragons is renamed to Brightaxe hall and the kingdom of Alatorin is founded. »

  • A group of experienced warriors come across the blue dragon Brightstrike in its lair. The fierce battle ends in the death of more than 15 of the warriors (many of whom are later resurrected) and Brightstrike herself. The warriors rejoiced, brought her considerable hoard back to Wreathe, and then continued their hunting. »

  • The blue dragon Maldraedior begins his reign as the suzerain of the blue dragons in the area of Unther and Mulhorand. »

  • -544 DR [Year of Leaping Fish]
  • The blue dragon Brightstrike has her revenge on the citizens of Wreathe when her children, who had watched her battle with her slayers from a spell-shielded cavern, converges upon the city of Wreathe during the late fall. The city is totally unprepared to deal with an attack by three ancient blue dragons, and the city's defenders are ruthlessly annihilated by repeated breath weapon attacks over more than a fortnight. »

  • The Passing of Power
    The Lord of Scepters, Iliphar Nelnueve of House Amaratharr and a small group of elves mets with the balck dragon Thauglorimorgorus (Thauglor) and his seconds the blue dragon Gloriankithsanus and the red dragon Mistinarperadnacles Hai Draco (Mist) to settle their differences. Iliphar challenges Thauglor to a Feint of Honor and defeats the dragon, granting the elves claim to the realm of Cormanthyr. »

  • The wyrmling blue dragon Iryklathagra plunders Hilather's abandoned tower in the emirate of Torsil. »

  • In a secret meeting, Iryklathagra and Shoon IV plot the destruction of Rhimnasarl the Shining, a great silver dragon of the Marching Mountains who has long opposed the oppressive ruler of the Shoon. After the death of Rhimnasarl, the qysar betrays Iryklathagra, keeping the silver dragon's hoard. In reaction to this event, Iryklathagra establishes a secret lair of her own elsewhere in the Marching Mountains and set about building its defenses. »

  • 322 DR [Year of Seven Scales]
  • Iryklathagra brazenly confronts Shoon VII, the great-great-great-grandson of Shoon IV. She settles onto Q ysar's Square before the Imperial Palace in Shoonarch and dares the q ysar to respond to her presence. After several days of tense negotiations, the blue dragon departs peacefully with a fraction of the hoard she claims as hers. Instead of delivering the treasure, Shoon attacks the dragon, starting the Sharpfang Battles. »

  • 366 DR [Year of Molten Anvils]
  • The last of the battles between Iryklathagra and Shoon VII earned the dragon her common appellation of "Sharpfangs", as the blue dragon shattered and nearly bit off the qusar's left arm and right leg during the conflict. Shoon VII and his nemesis battled in the skies over Shoonarch and among the streets of the slaves' city just outside the city center. »

  • The Night of Dragons' Attack
    Five black and two blue dragons assault the mythal directly over Myth Drannor, testing its defenses against them. Lieutenant Itham, commander of the dragonriders, brings their full complement of six good dragons and one hundred hippogriffs against them. Although all of the evil dragons are destroyed, they also kill one bronze dragon, half the hippogriffs and their riders, and four dragonriders, including Itham, the Baneblade Morvain falls into the possession of Lady Ahskahala Durothil. »

  • First recorded mention of the Blue Dragon Olothontor. The written collection eventually resides in Candlekeep. »

  • 726 DR [Year of the Dowager Lady]
  • Glaerikim's Band, led by Glaerikim, sets a trap for the the Minstral Dragon, Olothontor. In a forest glade, Glaerikim hired minstrels to perform till the dragon would apear. When Olothontor arrived, Glaerikim sprang his trap and fired 4 ballistas at the dragon. Olothontor survives this initial assault and goes on to slay everyone save one minstrel who hid and played dead. »

  • The Eight Age of Calimshan
    The dragon Sapphiraktar the Blue comes from the Calim Desert and destroys Calimport and Keltar, bringing an end to the Seventh Age of Calimshan. Beginning of the Eighth Age of Calimshan. »

  • The blue dragon Alasklerbanbastos allies with the Cult of the Dragon cell in Mourktar and is transformed into a dracolich. »

  • 1090 DR [Year of Slaughter]
  • Thalaxas "the Tyrant" dies in the Battle of Slaughterwyrm at the newly founded temple to Beshaba (the head priest of the temple was Arlast Halungh). The temple was torn apart by a family of blue dragons, and all of the combatants perished except for a pair of young dragons. The Black Book, an artifact of the goddess Beshaba, which was in the possession of Thalaxas, is lost. »

  • 1144 DR [Year of the Giant's Maul]
  • The Halruaan archmage Ootheraum Deirin slays the ancient blue dragon Thoklastees over the Shining Sea east of Orlil in an aerial battle. »

  • The adventuring company Dun Blades of Ulkan finds and takes the treasures of the dead blue dragon, Thoklastees. Flester Farcoat of the Dun Blades finds the Round Book (an artifact of Milil) in the dragon's horde. It is assumed that Thoklastees had killed the previous owner, the red dragon Maerithyvvin some time before. »
