  • A clan of dwarves from the Tortured Land refuse to participate in a dwarven party preparing to raid peaceful settlements in the Border Forest. Convicted as traitors, the clan is exiled to the Great Glacier. The clan begins a year-long trek to the Nouvularond; all but four die along the way. The survivors are the forebears of a new race of arctic dwarves called the Innugaakalikurit. »

  • The Book of Fangs and Talons appears in Elversult where Malarites hold an open conclave to plan their dispositions in the lands north of Amn, east of Iriaebor, and west of Vaasa. The book is featured as a holy object in many rituals during the long tenday gathering. It is known to have been taken north by a certain Onglukh Neirim, who styled himself the "Holy Stalker of Malar". Onglukh set about breeding great cats and other rare, large predators in secret near the Border Forest, feeding them on orcs, flinds, and ogres (whose decline in the area dates from this time). »

  • 1335 DR [Year of the Snow Winds]
  • The Rightful Cycle is once again broken when the treespeaker Elanalue Sharrith (a moon elf of the Border Forest) is enslaved by drow coming up out of the depths. It is unknown if the drow also took Yornar's Trail Companion or if Elanalue was able to hide it before being captured, although many believe that the Companion is somewhere in the Underdark. »
