The wizards discover that their magical items and spells did not function, while the druids' powers remained unaffected. The attack is repelled and the last of The Windlass lose their lives. »

  • Battle of Morningstar Hallows
    Borran Klosk, servant of the Stalker, marches his undead armies against the cities of The Vilhon Reach. The Emerald Enclave and the Alaoreum dwarves aid the cities of the Reach in their time of need. At the Battle of Morningstar Hallows, druids cause the Alaoreum River to rise, flooding the armies of Borran Klosk. Unable to destroy Klosk, Priests of Eldath, imprison the mohrg beneath Alaghon. »

  • Two known Red Wizards are crushed while standing on the docks in Alaghon (of Turmish). The druids of the Emerald Enclave are suspected. »

  • Roar of Shadows: Malar attempts to enter the confines of the Guthmere Forest to destroy the druids residing there but is battled by Nobanion and the druids of the Emerald Enclave. He is driven northwest towards the Sword Coast. »

  • Silvanus is seen roaming in Winterwood and the heart of the Chondalwood. He also reportedly provides his special blessing to the island of Ilighon, home of the Emerald Enclave and his Chosen. »

  • 1366 DR [Year of the Staff]
  • A Red Wizard in Turmish dies when his residence is repeatedly struck by lightning bolts during a freak summer storm. The druids of the Emerald Enclave are suspected in the attack. »

  • 1370 DR [Year of the Tankard]
  • An unwitting pawn of Malar releases the dread mohrg Borran Klosk from his long imprisonment beneath the Temple of the Trembling Flower in Alaghon. Borran Klosk summons to his aid an army of drowned ones from the Whamite Isles to sack Alaghon. Haarn Brightoak and the Emerald Enclave come to Alaghon's aid then as Klosk seeks to activate Taraketh's Hive, an artifact that would destory the ecology of Turmish for centuries.

  • The Emerald Enclave begins sending agents throughout the Vilhon Wilds to counter the effects of the Spellplague. As years become decades, their original mission is slowly perverted from one of respect for and guardianship of nature to a vain struggle against forces far beyond their control. »

  • The Grand Cabal of the Emerald Enclave begins attempting to stem the tide of spellscarred pilgrims that pass through Turmish. »

  • 1486 DR [Year of the Nether Mountain Scrolls]
  • The fleet of Turmish engages with the pirate fleet of Umberlee's chosen, Evendur Highcastle, emerging victorious thanks in part to Anton Marivaldi and Umara Ankhlab.

    Harpers free the Chosen captives of Netheril from their prison in the Lost Peaks, including Stedd Whitehorn, the chosen of Lathander.

    Stedd Whitehorn heals Lady Cindermoon of her mental degradation, thereby revitalizing the Emerald Enclave. »

  • 1491 DR [Year of the Scarlet Witch]
  • The latest incarnation of the Cult of Elemental Evil rises as a union of four cults when the prophets, the moon elf Aerisi Kalinoth, leader of the Cult of the Howling Hatred; the tiefling Vanifer, leader of the Cult of the Eternal Flame; the medusa Marlos Urnrayle, leader of the Cult of the Black Earth; and the human Gar Shatterkeel, leader of the Cult of the Crushing Wave, take possession of the elemental weapons, the spear Windvane, the dagger Tinderstrike, the warpick Ironfang, and the trident Drown, form the Fane of the Eye located beneath the ruins of the ancient dwarven fortress-city of Tyar-Besil in the Sumber Hills of the Dessarin Valley in order to summon the Princes of Elemental Evil. The cultists are driven from Tyar-Besil and dwarves slowly begin to reclaim the city.

    A Black Earth priest named Larrakh came to Red Larch to steer a cultist group called the Believers toward the worship of elemental earth. The cultists planned to use the Believers to conquer the village at the right time. That same year, under secret suggestions from Larrakh, three Believers (Ilmeth Waelvur, Marlandro Gaelkur, and Albaeri Mellikho) killed some people in order to protect the secret of the Believers. This backfired on them, as soon some adventurers came to investigated and uncovered the Believers. The folk of Red Larch were shocked to learn that many of their most respected fellow citizens were part of a secret cabal.

    Oreioth, a human necromancer from a noble family in Baldur's Gate is discovered practicing his dark art in Lance Rock, having taken the title "Lord of Lance Rock". Oreioth is killed by adventurers.

    The other citizens of Red Larch shunned the Believers over subsequent months, and the Believers turned against one another. Many retreated into seclusion, and some left the town.

    After months of operating in secret, the Cult of Crushing Earth attacks a delegation from the city of Mirabar bound for Waterdeep, attracting the attention of the Lords' Alliance, as well as the Harpers, the Order of the Gauntlet, the Emerald Enclave, and even the Zhentarim, all who send agents into the Dessarin Valley.

    After the cults of Elemental Evil slip dozens of devastation orbs into Mulmaster, the city's harbor is destroyed when one is successfully detonated in the sewers, despite running battles between cultists and agents of the Five factions that resulted in the rest being prevented from doing significant damage.

    Aerisi Kalinoth, Marlos Urnrayle, Vanifer, and Gar Shatterkeel are killed by adventurers, destroying the Cult of Elemental Evil as their followers scatter and go into hiding. »
