  • The copper dragon Galadaeros alights on Mount Waterdeep when returning the adventuress Ranressa Shiard to her home city, causing much consternation among Waterdeep's citizens. This event prompts Ahghairon to create wards deterring dragons from raiding the city. »

  • 1199 DR [Year of the Baldic]
  • The adventuring band known as Thornstar's Company discovers the Scepter of Mystra (an artifact of Mystra). The company had been seeking a way out of Undermountain for the past six months. The leader of the company, Thornstar, was facing dissension, in particular from the wizard of the company, Ilragoth Morndlar. Ilragoth hoped that the Scepter would give him the means to escape Undermountain. Unfortunately for the company, Ilragoth's apprentice, Impaladus Nolorn, experimented with the artifact one night on watch and somehow teleports himself and the Scepter to the top of Mount Waterdeep. He then joins the Watchful Order and begins to carefully examine his new treasure. »

  • Marpenoth 15 A great battle in Waterdeep sees Myrkul destroyed by Midnight, Shar and Selune do battle. Cyric slays Kelemvor Lyonsbane with his sword Godsbane (actually an aspect of the god Mask). The Tablets of Fate are returned to Overlord Ao, creator of the Realms and of the gods themselves. He descends upon Toril and speaks to its inhabitants. Lord Ao declares that all gods become servants to their followers, that Midnight take Mystra's place as Goddess of Magic, and that Cyric shall take control of what was left undone by the deaths of Myrkul, Bane, and Bhaal. And, while Cyric found this responsibility quite an honor, Lord Ao was unsure he'd continue with that reasoning.

Halaster's Highharvestide results in the destruction of the village of Geniste and other chaos across Faerun, until his rescue by a group of adventurers.

    Piergeiron Paladinson destroys the dracolich Kistarianth the Red on the slopes of Mount Waterdeep during Halastar's Harvestide. The transformed red dragon was slain in life by Piergeiron's father, Athar the Shining Knight.

    The female old blue dragon Araugauthos the Bluetalon escapes from Undermountain during Halaster's Highharvestide. After slaying a great wyrm red dragon that laired near Citadel Amnur and claiming his hoard, she flies south to rejoin her mother Iryklathagra. »
