Her mother dies giving birth, leaving the infant and her great-uncle, the coronal Eltargrim, as the sole heirs of House Irithyl. From birth, Aravae has a personal guard of three soldiers whose sole purpose is to protect the child who will be the coronal's heir. »

  • Coronal Eltargrim Irithyl opens the forest of Cormanthor (Myth Drannor) to non-elves, N'Tel'Quess, primarily druids, great wizards, and crafters who can add to the glory of Cormanthyr. »

  • Coronal Eltargrim Irithyl commissions the creation of a mythal over Myth Drannor. »

  • The elf city at the heart of Cormanthyr becomes the unified city of Myth Drannor with the completion of its mythal (aided in it's creation by the Srinshee, and Alea Dahast). Coronal Eltargrim Irithyl, in an edict called the Opening, declared that Cormanthyr was to be an open realm, accessible to all non-elves (N'Tel'Quess), following the laying of the mythal and the renaming of the city. »

  • Formation of the Eldreth Veluuthra
    Five leading elf houses - Bharaclaiev, Hyshaanth, Rhae-vaern, Tellynnan, and Starym - declare that they cannot support coronal Eltargrim's liberal attitude toward non-elves (particularly humans), nor can they allow the continued encroachment of humans into ancestral elf lands. Rather than battle fellow elves, the five houses depart Myth Drannor and begin to catalog the crimes of humans against both nature and the land they inhabit. »

  • A number of humans are murdered in Myth Drannor by a bigoted servant elf of House Ammath, secretly working for its rival, House Symbeam. »

  • Gnomes walk the sylvan glades of Myth Drannor for the first time since escaped gnome slaves passed through Cormanthor in Netheril's time. »

  • After decades of debate, the elves decide to allow N'Tel'Quess (non-elves) to join the Akh'Velabrn (the army of Myth Drannor) after training in the Cormanthyran methods of battle. More than four hundred humans and one hundred dwarves eagerly enlist. »

  • 330 DR [Year of Roused Giants]
  • Arun Maerdrym is born the first half-elf among the senior noble Houses of Myth Drannor, to the surprise of many elves, he is accepted by the patriarch and allowed to retain his name and position in the family and clan. »

  • 331 DR [Year of the Cold Clashes]
  • Elminster leaves Cormanthyr (Myth Drannor) for the first time in seventy years at Mystra's insistence. »

  • 335 DR [Year of Seven Stones]
  • Flamerule The Darkwoods Massacre
    The fourth major foray by Myth Drannor forces against the invading orcs occur within the Darkwoods in high summer. The battle is lost as the orcs surround over half of the allied forces and decimate them in their sleep; since the human guards were also among the slain, no explanation is apparent for the negligence. In all, more than 1,000 soldiers died that night, though only 100 of them were elves. »

  • Saeval Ammath returns from an excursion into the western mountains and immediately sequesters himself in a House Ammath townholding outside the mythal of Myth Drannor. While many find this behavior curious, none suspect that he has found and claimed a dragon's egg. »

  • Seven elf officers of the Akh'Velabrn are exiled from Myth Drannor and Cormanthyr after their court martials discover their barbaric treatment of non-elf troops and responsibility for the Darkwoods Massacre. »
